Abstract: Despite graphics and sound seeing major advancements, interacting with intangible objects remains to this day a challenge for virtual and augmented reality. In the first part of this talk I will present works about interacting with 3D graphics with a focus on ergonomics and speed. Following that, I will present some projects about multi-sensory integration in applied VR/AR interaction including some illusions. Finally, I will discuss a few ongoing projects on social robotics and telepresence.
